ScrapTiffany "Naked Chipboard" Challenge-Part 2

This week's challenge at Scrap Tiffany is
"Naked Chipboard".
It was kind of difficult for me to leave chipboard without any paint, ink,
paper, or anything. I just couldn't stand it.
I mean, I wouldn't go outside naked so why would I
leave my chipboard uncovered?
Well, this is as naked as it gets, at least for my chipboard anyway!!

Supplies used:
Patterned paper & Friend Coupon-Bo Bunny;
Chipboard Brackets-Bazzill pieces;
White Cardstock-Bazzill
Misc., Buttons, Ric Rack Ribbon

Great challenge Tiffany!!
Really MADE me get out of my box...just not naked.heehee!

Go on over to Scrap Tiffany to see how creatively, naked
the rest of the Design team is.
You won't regret it!!!

You!

Here is a recent digital layout I created in my
Photoshop Class with Jessica Sprague.
I said it before but I'm saying it again.
Jessica's classes are so easy to understand and a lot of fun.
If you're wanting to get into digital, head her way.
I promise you won't be disappointed.
Here is my layout.

This is a layout of me and my husband.
He is a great man. He allows me to be who I am everyday,
supports me, encourages and believes in me along the way
whatever that may mean.
Thanks Hugo. You're a great husband, father and friend.
I love you!!!

Don't forget to head on over to Tiffany to see what
type of "Thrifty Thursday" idea Katie has to show us.
There are always great ideas on there.

Fun Weekend Pictures!

We've been on the run the past couple days.
Here are some pictures from the fun.

Here is my Shine and Coco.
They looked like they were dressed together on this day, but it was not planned. When I saw Shine holding Coco, I couldn't resist.
I love how these turned out.
(I made Coco's headband)
Fun!!

We were at Bernie's one night for dinner and swimming.
Bethany was learning to be a balloon artist from Jacqueline.
By the time she was done, everyone was wearing a hat, bracelet, or some other type of contraption and there were balloons all over the place.
I think she got carried away. haha!
The kids loved it though. Nanny Bethany always shows them a good time.
Thanks Bethany...now MY house is full of balloons. haha!

This is Kameron being his silly self.

This is the group picture.
Can you believe it?
And this wasn't even a party just a get-together.
But there is always a party with this group.
I love all the colors.
Back row(from right): Aleya, Brandon, Brighton, Shine.
Front row: Kameron, Brooklin, Bethany, Coco -Addi, Lil' Sammy, Briana.
(even little Coco had a balloon bracelet on).

Brandon,Brighton, Briana.

Shine and our 2nd teenage daughter Aleya. We love these girls!!

These other pictures are from our school shopping trip.
It was just me, Shine, and Kameron.
It was super good for me to spend the time with just the two of them.
They're both getting so big.

We walked into Tilly's and these two ladies just fell in love with Kameron.
They kept staring at him and smiling while he was looking for shoes.
They finally spoke up and said "He's so cute!"
and loved his hair. This one actually asked if she could touch it.
So we couldn't pass that picture up.
Then as we walked away they had big grins and just kept saying "So cute" and staring back at us as we walked away.
Me and Shine were crackin up.

Kameron found these sunglasses and he had to have them.
They are sooo him.
He loved them.

The two of them being SUPER cool and taking pictures of themselves.

I had a great day with the kids. We even got inside a photo booth to take some crazy pictures. However, that's not necessarily a good idea in the 100 degree afternoon sun. It was hot and sticky in there.
I can't believe school starts next week.
Where did the summer go?

Well, that's it for now.
We have a fun party to go to tomorrow.
So I am sure I will be posting more pictures soon.
Have a great rest of the weekend.

My Birthday Surprise!!

Ok, so this post is long overdue. I had planned to post all these pictures the day after my birthday but somehow it just didn't happen.
My birthday was back in June.
One day I was asked by my friend Bernadette and her daughter, which is our Nanny, Bethany to go out to dinner.
Since my birthday had past when we were going,
I had no idea what they had been planning.
Well, our dinner date comes, I go to the door, and this is what I find.

They had rented a limo to go out on the town for my birthday and planned a great night out with the girls.
Are you kidding me? How much fun was that.
I was TOTALLY surprised. I usually am a hard person to surprise, but Bernie and I tend to think a lot alike so, I think she knew how to "get" me.

This is all of us in front of the limo.
Let me tell you, this is a fantabulously, fun group.

Bethany, Shine, Me, Meagan, Bernie, Alisha, and Darlene.

Me and my best friend, Bernie.

My sweet gift from my friend Darlene.
Do these girls know me or what??
I love it!!!

Me and my Shine. No party is complete for me without my Shine.
I love you Shine.

The girls in front of our fav, Elephant Bar.

Alisha, Bernie and Bethany

I ran into some great friends at dinner.
They bought me a beverage. Woot! Woot!
Thanks Charlene and Jennifer.
Love ya...

Me and Darlene.
I love you my crazy friend.
You are my "Get Kevin" co-partner in crime.

My Shine always has a good time.

My Bestie Bernie.
I love you my friend.
God has blessed me with our friendship.

Look what they made me buy at that liquor store?
I had to go into the liquor store and buy a bottle of anything for under $5, including tax. Did they card me? Hmmm? I can't remember???
Wow! I've never done that before.
They sent me on wild goose chases all night long.
I had to go into Target to buy something really embarrassing. Shine, Bethany and Meagan ran into the bathroom because they were embarrassed.
It's ok, I got them anyway by yelling their names out telling them I bought them something. They cried with laughter.

Here's the rest of my night stops: The stop above in the picture, at the liquor store, the Farmers Market to ask complete strangers how old they thought I was. I had to get 5 people to say I was younger than I actually was. And yes, I did get people to guess younger.
That was quite enlightening to hear the thoughts of my age.
Boy, was that strange.
Some answers were good answers and some were bad. lol!

I think the worst/best one of all was the stop at GB3...I had to go in and walk on the treadmill in my high heels. Yes, I did it and then had to sit on a ball and do some weights, all in high heels. Everyone was really wondering what the heck we were all doing.
It was really funny. I had a blast!!!

Then we had to make a stop at BJ's for our favorite dessert.
We shared it between us all. So Yummy!!!
This was after dinner and a lot of stops along the way.

Bethany and Meagan.
Love these two girls.

What the heck is all that?
They made me do it.

Our Bethany...is that look upset or cuteness?
Either way, we love you.

Our driver. He was the best driver.
He was special to us all because he was the driver
at Bethany and Josh's wedding.
So he had been around us before. It's a wonder he came back for more.

So the whole night was crazy fun.
Between the friends, food, silly stops, laughter, all the funny looks and of course the presents, we created memories that lasted forever.
We had a blast and did I tell you I have great friends?

This was my birthday present from Bernadette and Bethany.
The diaper bag I had been drooling over.
It's a Petunia Pickle Bottom.
If you don't know them, you need to go check it out.
They are very popular in the baby world.
Even some movie stars carry them. And now I do too.
I love it. The color and print is totally me.
Thanks my friends. You're awesome!!
Now it's your turn to get one Bethany.

Isn't it soooo adorable? It carries sooo much stuff. Seriously!!!
I love it very much!!! I proudly carry it everywhere we go.

Thanks to Bernadette, Bethany, Shine, Darlene, Alisha, Meagan
for a great surprise birthday bash. I'm so thankful for each of you in my life.
You are all amazing.
I loved every minute of our fun night together.
xoxoxo
