White Christmas Layout

Here is a layout for Christmas.
This picture is Kameron a couple years ago.
I can't believe how much he has grown since then.
I love this picture of him. He still has his baby teeth(gone now).

This layout was created using Rusty Pickle "White Christmas" patterned paper, paper ribbon buckle, and trim,
Heidi Swapp letters,
7Gypsies Gaffer Tape,
Christmas Bingo cards: produced by Jessica Griffin inspired by Jenni Bowlin,
Misc: chipboard arrows/swirl, red stones, ink, paint.

Scrap Tiffany Design Team!!

So excited about the news I received yesterday. I was selected to join the Design Team for Scrap Tiffany. I am very excited about this team. Tiffany does a great job at organizing the team projects and keeping the excitement going. I think she also helps to get people out of their scrapping box with her challenges. Some subjects you may never scrap otherwise.

Check our her blog here.

Thank you Tiffany for the opportunity!!
I look foward to getting to know you and the team more.

You must get in on some of her challenges she has.
There are some great ideas. She posts them every Monday.
Get in on it and upload your version, if for no other reason to "make" yourself get out of your box of your normal scrapping subjects.
Have fun with it!!
Go check out the team on Scrap Tiffany Blog!

Congrats to the rest of the team!!!
We will have a blast!!

Happy Thanksgiving!!!

I wanted to do a quick post to tell any blog visitors Happy Thanksgiving!! Most of us will not be blogging today but sometimes there are a few out there that for one reason or another, are doing just the norm today. Hope your day is amazing anyway!!!

We are headed to a dear friends house today for the Turkey day. I wanted to take something to the hostess for her hospitality on this busy day. It's the proper thing to do to take a small gift to the hostess when they invite you into their home. Somewhere along the way, I think we all have forgotten that.
Well, of course I used it for an excuse to craft a little, anyway.
My friend has asked for a Hot Chocolate recipe I received from another friend for sometime.
I couldn't seem to locate it and had to dig a little deeper to find it. (I need to spend some time organizing my recipes).
So for the long wait I put her thru, I decided once I found it to make the recipe for her and put it in a jar with mini marshmallows and present it to her for her hostess gift. (Hopefully, she is not blog hopping today, or she will see it before I get there. lol!)

So here's what I did:
Purchased the jar, ingredients, ribbon, measuring cup.
Then went to House of 3, and picked up this adorable little lady, sized her, changed the color to red and printed her on plain white cardstock.
Cut a tag with my Coluzzle cutter with her front & center.
Inked the edges with Tim Holtz distressing ink,
covered her with Diamond Glaze to give her a sheen,
placed 2 stones on for some bling,
Cut red cardstock the same size as the tag and covered the back,
typed up the recipe on white cardstock and placed on the back side.

Put it all together and here is the result....

Close-up of the tag. You can see the sheen on her hat, it is also on her dress.

A side view.

So there you have it a quick hostess gift for my dear friend.
Hope she likes it.

Some good news I saw today..I checked my email and found this newsletter.
2 Peas chose to feature my sister's project. There are many members that upload their work to this company and they chose hers to feature in their newsletter.
Congrats Sis!!

Rusty Pickle October Layouts!!

Here are a couple layouts for October I completed for Rusty Pickle.

The photos on both layouts were from our annual Pumpkin Patch visit.
This one below is my Shine pretending to kiss this pumpkin headed manequin. I told her that better be the only type of kisses she giving away other than to me...lol!

Rusty Pickle "Thriller" patterned paper, chipboard pieces, buttons, letter stickers, tag.
Bazzill Cardstock,
7 Gypsies mini paperclips,
Misc: paint, white pen.

These photos are again at the patch visit...I just decided to take some of my kids, some are planned and some are not.

Rusty Pickle "Thriller" patterned paper, alpha stickers, acrylic stamp.
Bazzill cardstock
Misc: chipboard, stone, black pen, paint, ink.

Hope you all had a chance to go to the Pumpkin Patch even if you don't have children. It just gets you in the mood for Fall.
We always have a blast. I have quite a few more years to attend based on the ages of my children.

Trick-or-Treat!!

I hope everyone had a great Trick-or-Treat Day!!
We had a blast! Family, fun, food, friends and candy always makes for a good time.
Here are some pics...

The food...

Bernadette made dinner..Taco Soup..it was amazing!!

Corn Dogs for the kids...ok, so we all had a corndog.

Bethany's food decor...Beautiful job my B!!

I think these were the 2nd set of Trick-or-Treaters we had while we were eating our dinner before heading out. So we just all went together...We're so glad The Gibbs surprised us..it just made our fun a little bigger.
This is Colton, Mahala, & Anastasia...

Shine, the butterfly...

Brooklin, the Candy Corn!! She was sooo happy cause no one ate her like we told her may happen because she was so cute. ha!

Kameron, The Rock Star...of course!!

The Candy Corn's mad face!!!

Bernadette and Mema!!!

These two were great...just know if a priest ever looks at you that way, you may have a problem, especially if you are a nun!!!

The whole clan...except for our surprise visitor's..yay!! Darlene and Eric!!
We're are all glad you stopped by.
In the pic, we're also missing Kev, Bernadette, Mema, and myself(behind the camera).
Don't you know the homeowners hated to see us coming?

Hugo and Eric...poor Eric looks scared!! I understand Eric, Hugo's scary without the costume.

Our first house...yes, all those kids are a part of our group!! I told you the houses probably looked out the window and turned their lights off before we got to the door. Brooklin insisted on being the first one to get candy. She had a different attitude after I told her, I would take her candy away and not let her trick-or-treat anymore.

Close-up!!

Kameron, Rock Star and Colton, the Doctor.

Mahala, the Bride and Brooklin, Candy Corn!

Another house...

The Candy Corn pose!!!

Brooklin and Jakey, the builder!!
