This week's challenge at Scrap Tiffany is "Food/Recipes".
What a perfect challenge for this time of year.
I love the holidays and all the new recipes that come out and I love the old traditional ones even more.
I created this recipe box with some of our traditional family
recipes that our family enjoys every year.
I am excited because it is almost time to eat some of our favorites again.
Funny, if you think about it, most of us only eat our favorites once a year.
Sounds weird huh?
Here's my project for this week...

Digital kit: Shabby Princess-"Holiday Recipe Collection"Red leather flower: Making Memories
Misc: ribbon, buttons, brad
Last year I downloaded this digital kit for free, I had forgotten all about it.
Here's the link...Shabby Princess.
They have tons of free digital downloads and kits to purchase that are super cute and very inexpensive.
They also have a ton of digi tutorials that are super easy and also free of charge.
This is a digital kit that includes the box, recipe cards, tags and other digital pieces that you can add digitally.
I typed the recipes, played with all the digital pieces, added a photo of the recipe, and printed it out right on my personal printer including the box. Then, I added ribbon, buttons, a flower, brad and mounted the recipe cards on red cardstock.
You don't even have to do anything digital, you could just print it as is and hand write your recipes and add your cute embellishments.
What a great little hostess gift to give at a holiday party,
or a bride to be gift for the holiday.
The best recipes are the ones that have been tried and
tested by the people close to you.
So we can't have a food/recipe challenge without sharing a favorite recipe...
My family loves these Snicker Doodles. I've tried other recipes and this one tops them all. I promise if you like Snickerdoodles, you won't eat just one.
Enjoy!!!
Go print this kit and get it started on a holiday recipe box before Thursday.
You can whip it up the box and then make the Snickerdoodles to give to your hostess for the holiday, then give decorated blank cards for them to add their favorites.
It really went pretty quick.
Have a great holiday week.
I love it my kids are home with me every day this week.
No School!! Yay!!
Our plans are to decorate for Christmas, watch Christmas movies, bake and snuggle.
Oh yea!! Don't forget to end the week with Black Friday!!
Oh yes..we are headed out very early, so don't eat too much turkey the day before or you won't want to get up.
I love that day, the hustle and bustle starting point.
If you try the recipe box or the cookie recipe,
please let me know what you thought of them.
Til next Time with T!!
