Baby Bump!!!

We went today for our second ultrasound.
As of today, Sept 30, 09, I am 16 weeks, 5 days.
This was a very detailed ultrasound. We found out the sex of the baby(whoohoo!), and saw several body parts. They burned a CD for us as well, in addition to giving us a scroll of pictures. It was the best ultrasound I have ever had from any of my children.
We're were told that the baby is about 8 inches long and about 5 oz.
Pretty small considering it has all it's body parts already.
Amazing!!!

Here are the photos...I have a lot more but these are the basics....
Here is our little Baby Egle!!!!

This is the right hand!!! All fingers in tact.

This is a foot...

This is her foot, knee, and leg.

The other hand...

Here "SHE" is in all her glory!!! Yes, I said SHE!!!!
The U shape is her bottom side with her legs pointing to the left. Her feet and calf part of her legs are bent so you can't see them.

This is her profile...this looks exactly like all 3 of my other children's ultrasounds. The same nose and mouth shape.
All of my kids look the same.

If that's not enough for you to see..here are some videos of the ultrasound. Sorry there are so many, I had to break it up that way because of the way they recorded it. The total time is about 13 min. Each individual video is about 2-3 min each. Thought you might like to know that prior to jumping into it.
The best part about this is you can see her movement. She kicks her feet, moves her arm, open/closes her hand and has her feet crossed.
All that movement was probably due to the white mocha I had on the way. lol!
My kids have always called Stbx juice when they were old enough to talk.

So glad I have the video to share with my Nashville family, since they are not here to experience all this first hand.

Here she is in action.....

Amazing isn't it? All that going on inside of me. Hmmm??
Although she is moving on the inside, I have not really felt a lot of movement yet on the outside. Just a knock or flutter here or there.

After finding out what we were having, I then had to pop into the baby store. I then was feeling excited.
Then went to the maternity store. Yikes, I was dreading that store, however, they have sure come a long way since even my last one 5 years ago. I had a good time with my friends.
Look at Bethany, doesn't she look cute pregnant?

Take a look....

So glad I'm not the only one that looks like this...
Thanks Beth for being a "true" friend in this way.

Hope you all enjoyed the baby pics. Sorry for the long post.
It was a must though.

Happy #? th Birthday to Sis!!!

This post is a little late...I have been searching for pics all day in between my taxi runs, baths, and searching for a homecoming outfit for my Shine, and not feeling very well today...I should have started it 2 days ago, but....
Happy Birthday to my Sis!!!!
I thought I would honor my Sis by going down memory lane with some of my favorite pics of our visits after she moved away over a year and 1/2 ago.
Enjoy!!!!

This is Sis with all of her niece's and nephews. She took them us all to the Aquarium Resturant last Dec when we visited there for Christmas. They all agree there is only one Aunt Sheri. Everything she does is "for" them when they are present.

This is all of us visiting the Scrapbook store in Nashville. I love this pic..we are all together and doing one thing we enjoy together.

Aunt Sheri took all the kids to the "Grinch in Ice" at the Opryland Hotel/Nashville during our visit there at Christmas. That was amazing...slides out of ice and shapes/colors. They all had a blast...there are no smiles on their faces b/c I think they were all frozen. lol!!! They still talk about the fun they had.

Sis, remember this? You were trying to buy Brooklin a present upon our arrival from California. We went to Walmart so you could buy some birdseed for the feeders, for Brooklin and flowers, so Brooklin could water them while at your house and you went to buy her a present and you attempted to go down the baby isle, but I think she would have gone without then to take home a dollbaby...her response to that doll was, "I don't like that thing, I want a Hot Wheels."

That's our girl, well, our tomboy!!!

This was the breakfast morning...pancakes it was. Chocolate Chip actually. "Chef Brooklin" loves to cook with Aunt Sheri.

This is a great picture of Sis doing what she loves...Scrapbooking..We took a class with Teresa Collins during one of my visits there. Teresa was so open and friendly. We made friends quite quickly with her. Sis had a blast!!!

I love this picture...We were driving to the Teresa Collins class. We were so excited to go to this class and because we were all together. We took this while driving. That was such a fun girls night. I almost forgot I had left Brooklin with Unle Rick. Scary, I know!!!

Brooklin cleaning the chairs at the church. She loves to help.

I love my Sis!!!!

We went to dinner before our trip was ending quite quickly. That was a fun but very sad night all at the same time.

Sis remember this? You were so mad at me and Ash cause we made you guys wait forever while we found our fun things...but what you didn't know was..we went back to to the booth at the flea market to purchase these cool antique's for you. When we got back to the car you were all about to get mad at us when me and Ash told you we got these items for you. Whew!! We saved ourselves...haha!!!

OMG!! Thank goodness you were there for this one. Brooklin had fallen and cut her chin on the asphalt the day before we were supposed to leave for your house...the doctor said we could go under one condition...we had to have the stiches removed while we were gone. I probably would have passed out if you were not there. In the waiting room, Sis felt so bad for Brooklin, she picked up an ad for Toys R' Us and looked thru it with Brooklin and told her if she was a big girl while they looked at her chin..she could pick anything she wanted in the ad and Aunt Sheri would buy it for her after we left. Well, needless to say that helped...if you look closely, Brooklin is holding the torn out ad in her hand while laying on the table. Take a guess at what she selected? A train set...no, not a small train a big train..and yes, Aunt Sheri bought it.

This was at the Nashville Flea Market. Brooklin found a Nemo blanket and yes, Aunt Sheri didn't pass it up and Brooklin still has it.

Brooklin rocking in the chairs outside Cracker Barrel. She loves that place. I love their food and gift shop.

Most of the pictures are of Brooklin. Kameron and Shine have only been able to visit one time since Sis left a year and a half ago due to school schedules.

I hope you have a great Birthday. We miss you so very much. Our lives are not the same without you in it.

You are an amazing sister, friend, Auntie, and mom.

I love you very much!!!

Happy Birthday, Sis!!!

The Best Surprise and the Greatest Sister!!!

Yesterday we checked the mail just as we always do. Now, we are not people who check our mail everyday. We check it when we think about it, which is about 1-2 x's per week. Or at the least, when the post man leaves us a note to say..."I can't fit anymore mail in your box". haha!

My sis told me, "You need to check your mail, I sent you something and I had to insure it and it doesn't need to stay sitting in your mailbox."
Really, that's the only reason we checked the mail, this particular day.

So yesterday we checked the mail and Kameron brought this med sized white box to me. The kids thought was there's because it was decorated Aunt Sheri style, however, one part was different...
It was my name listed on the cute decorated label, not the kids names.
Brooklin said, "Ooohh!! That's from Aunt Sheri, is that for me?"
She recognized it immediately.

With my sis telling me that she didn't want it left in the box, my pregnant mind was thinking, she sent a big box of chocolate to me.

Well, I started opening the box and although it was dark like chocolate, it was far better than any chocolate I could put in my mouth.

Take a look for yourself....

A close-up....
Can you believe it?
I couldn't either...I cried.
It was the Canon Rebel Camera, zoom lens, 2 batteries/charger, 2.0 compact flash memory card and a bag.

I was completely floored. I have been wanting one of these camera's for a very long time.
I had just finally decided that I would just be happy with my point and shoot and probably would not spend the money on that kind of camera for quite a while anyway.

This is a REAL camera!!!

I have played with it and carried it everywhere since I opened the box. Already, I can't believe the difference in the photo's and I don't even know how to use it yet.
Sissy's advice...leave it on auto for now until I read my instruction manual, take a class, or get advice from her.
I will be obedient to that.

Ya know...sometimes it seems when you are going thru some hard things in your life, God knows exactly when to show up with a boost, and well, let's face it, sister's come in 2nd to that to know when and how to pop up with a word of advice, prize, or a hug.

I've said this and posted this before and I am saying it again...
I have the best sister anyone could ever dream of having. Really not just b/c she shows up with great presents, but her presence is a blessing to whomever she is around.
She gives the best, most neutral, Godly advice of anyone I know.
She really is my hero!!
If I could be half of the person she has become in my lifetime, I would be happy.

Sis...thank you so very much for my awesome blessing!!!
You are the greatest!!! I love you and miss you so very much. I hate being apart from you. You are a great 2nd mom to my children.
You have such a giving heart.
I can't tell you how thankful I am to have you in my life.
I Love You!!!

Thank you again for the great surprise!!!

So now I can take better pictures to share.

August Layouts!

So you are probably wondering where I have been. Well, as many of you know I am having a baby...yes, its true. We are expecting a little one. Our due date is March 14th, 2010. We are very surprised but happy. If I could have one wish, of course, after the health of my baby, I wish I could share this baby with my family as close as we have with the other three. It seems like they are so far away now. We will have to work that part out. Hmm??
Anyway, I have not felt well AT ALL, nausea. It hits at different parts of the day. Not usually in the morning, but afternoon. However, I get tired very easily thruout the entire day.
Then with the kids going back to school. I really don't have a lot of time to myself to do some of the things I enjoy. So there you have it. Hopefully, I'm over the sick part. It seems to be lessening. We shall see!!!

Here are a few Rusty Pickle layouts for August...
Enjoy!!!

These pics are at the lake..we were invited to a friend's Graduation Party.
Go Eric!!!
The kids had a blast...Kameron rode all day or as much as he could on the boat or jet ski. Anyone who would take him, he went. Brooklin played in the sand, blew bubbles and started a big water fight that turned to the adults. I soooo owe you Kevin. Shine enjoyed hanging out with friends, on the boat or in the water or playing games. She too got into a water fight, her's involved the hose. She enventually lost to Megan with hose drenching her. She started it.
We had a great day!!!

This layout is of my Shine...she is really an All American Girl.

This one....my Brooklin. This took place on the 4th of July. We were at Grandma's house (Bernadette's Mom) in the country. It was dusk and the kids all found a frog. He wasn't a little tiny frog, yes he fit in Brooklin's hands but he was still a fat, wrinkly, bumpy, slimy frog.
Well, Brooklin was most impressed. Right away she ran to catch him up in her hands. She was not a bit afraid at all. Even some of the boys didn't want to touch it. But not my Brooklin, no way. She is a creature loving kinda kid. I had to send my camera over, because I didn't want to even get close.
Not only did she hold him and caress him, talk to him (Hello, Mr. Green Frog), she kissed him
3x's with her lips. Disgusting!! If you look closely at the picture on the top right, you will see her puckering up. If you look closely at the picture on the bottom right, you will see Mr. Green Frog happily just sitting in her hands. He didn't seem to try to get away from her.
I think my mom may have bleached her hands and lips afterwards. lol!!
I probably would have stopped the kissing but I was not told until after the fact. I may have drawn a mommy line at that one.
She was so happy to have met, held and conversed with Mr. Green Frog!!

So I hope you enjoyed this post...feels good to be back. I'm sure you all may have been wondering if I had run off with Keith Urban, after such a long delay after that post. lol!!

Will be back soon!!!

Sugarland/Keith Urban!!!

We went to the Sugarland/Keith Urban concert last night!!
I have followed and listened to Sugarland for awhile but was just becoming familiar with Keith Urban.
They both put on a great concert.
Sugarland performed for about an hour and Urban performed for about 2 hours. He poured his guts into his performance.
Really seemed to care about the people having a good time.
Here are some pics..there are alot. Sorry I couldn't decide.

I love Sugarland's logo..

This is Keith's bus.
Well, not for sure if it was "his", but it was one of his anyway.

Bernadette you shouldn't be driving and taking a pic. lol! You know what they say, "You become who you hang around", are they talking to me or you. ha!!

Bethany and Shine...very cute!!

We were too late to join the others for dinner due to husband's schedules so we grabbed a quick bite before going to the concert.

Here she is...I love her!!!

On the big screen...love that tatoo..if I ever got one, that's one I would get. Get it, last name Egle?...

Up close...

Adorable beenie on her..

The whole group together. See the red accordian(3rd guy from right).
I love it.

The end of their part of the concert.

The clan!!!

The rest of the clan...

Bernadette spoiled Shine with cotton candy!! $5.00. I said no way..Bernadette said, "Yes, way!" and gave me a dirty look. Yes, she can give a dirty look and to me??? Why would anyone give ME a dirty look?
Jk!! We love our Bernadette!!!

Funny face!!!

Normal!! Well, not really. lol!

And here he is....No words needed!!!...
Picture says 1000 words, he speaks for himself.

I know no one will believe this of me, BUT, really didn't mean to get this shot...took the one above and the camera switched shots.
Darn, terrible isn't it...when you think you're getting one thing and you end up get another.
hhmm???

Amazing isn't it???
I didn't even have to bare my upper body skin for this like the other woman did.

One last piece for ya'll. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

So we had a blast!!! I love going to concerts.
Cheers to you Sugarland and Keith Urban you both put on an amazing show!! Would go again in a sec.

Thanks for stopping by..leave a comment to let me know you stopped by!!
