Well, that was exciting news...and now to the second part of our special day...

This was our 1st stop of the day...

This is our lunch at Sal's with the kids after they were all so good in the scrap stores...all day!!!

It was fun to spend the day with Mema.

A little Eye-Candy goodness to feast your eyes and nose on...I found this paper and had to purchase it...it says, "Buy me, cut me, glue me, scrap me and sniff me." haha!

This is one of the make-n-takes me and mom made...its a pocket, like the library cards they used to have.

Today!!

For those of you who don't know what today is, well.....

What a happy day...all the stores online and local are having great sales, make-n-takes, special visitors, and usually either everything in the store is on sale or you get a discount at the register on everything you purchase.

How much fun is that?

In other business today,

Shine has Cheer tryouts today for high school.

She has practiced and is ready to go.

Mom is a little nervous because this is the "Big" school. Have you seen the boys? They look like overgrown men.

What am I going to do?

Is it ok for mom to go to school everyday with her?

Yea right!! Ok so now I understand why mom's and Gma's have bruised knees from being on your knees praying.

Anywho...Shine we wish you all the prayers and luck!! We believe in you!! You are a great Cheerleader!!!

That little girl looks up to Shine so much. I love it!! It's just like I do to my Big Sis..(I know...sounds mushy, but it's true) I just think it's cool that Brooklin looks up to her at such a young age and Shine is a great big sis. It makes my heart all big and smooshy!!!

Anyway, a big day for us around here...

I'll keep you posted on the cheer tryouts...she is supposed to know later today...cause Monday is a parent meeting(to tell us how much it all costs..oh Lord!) and Wed is uniform fittings. Didn't we just finish all that????

Easter Bunny!!

So I realized I hadn't posted pix of Easter morning and the Easter Bunny visit...so here goes.

Kameron was so excited that the Easter Bunny went to Bass Pro Shop to get his Rocket Fishing Rod he wanted...

All 3 sitting by their baskets after they have searched the house for them.

Sissy's is usually the easiest to find. She would like it if you just got her basket of Peeps.

But no!!! the Easter Bunny must get yet another snow globe...of course an Easter Bunny one...

Shine loves her Spring/Summer/Swim suit...

At night we planted Jelly Beans by the tree outside and in the morning there were a bunch of suckers that grew. Amazing!!!

These were taken on Easter Saturday on our way to church. This was her Sat night Easter outfit...That girl loves her rain boots, oh excuse me "goulashes". Yes, she does call them that.

Allow me to explain the "Bunny Poop". Easter morning the Easter Bunny hides their baskets somewhere in the house. When they wake up they find Bunny poop all over the floor...This tells the kids the Easter Bunny has been there. Then they know where he's been and can find their basket easier cause he hides the oldest kids really hard places.

Here I am again!!!

Here I am!!!! Sorry I didn't fall off the face of the earth..just pulled away a little.

Well, you all wanted to know what Shine's reaction was to her room....

Here it is...

Then we had a present session...Shine said she was tired but we did this part...We all love getting our presents she picked out for us. She did good.

She got Kameron a stuffed monkey, an M&M bag, and a shirt that said someone that loves me went to DC and bought me this shirt.

Shine and Brooklin...she got Brooklin a DC shirt, an M&M umbrella(Kameron and Shine broke her's we brought home to her from Vegas), and of course another snow globe for her collection. This one is the Empire State Building.
Shine brought me a sweatshirt hoodie...very cute...just what I wanted. I collect sweatshirts and have for years.
She got Dad a t-shirt to match my sweatshirt.
I thought I should post this pic...I really think she missed her little brother...what do you think? I think he missed her too.
