Scrap Tiffany Designer!!!

I'm so proud!! My Sis has made the Design Team for ScrapTiffany!!
She so deserves it, she is the one that got me started with this crazy, fun craft.

She is a so good at what she does.
She is very quick to inspire and help others, including me over the years.
Doesn't matter if they are new to it, or more experienced, she takes some of her time to help.
She has had me and other family members or friends over to "host" scrap parties and ALWAYS makes everyone welcome in her home, complete with snacks, cold drinks, hot chocolate with marshmallows and whip cream and/or coffee, always cute coffee mugs that spark relaxation and inspire instant creativity.

Depending if its an all day event or not, sometimes she even puts food in the crock for dinner so we do not have to "stop" scrapping to fix lunch or dinner. She always tells anyone of us, "use whatever I have in my stash. I don't think there is anything in her scrap room that she hasn't or wouldn't give to someone who is there and can't get to the store, like her cute antique red lamp, right sis..jk.
Even those that have laughed at us over our passion, she even helped them make their invitations or whatever other paper item they needed or wanted.
Anyway, she is given so much to this craft thru other people, her time or her stuff that it is time she "gets" back.
So I am so happy and proud of her for this accomplishment.
I am so glad that others will benefit from all her beautiful work.
You will enjoy looking at her designs, I promise.

Today, Scrap Tiffany posted her Sis's bio on her blog.

Check it out here:

Way to go sis!!!
Very proud of you!!!
And I miss our scrap nights and days. You always make it fun and relaxing!!

Amazing Race Project #4-Completion!!!

This is my 4th assignment from the Amazing Race Design Team call...
This is called a "layered album".
For all you non-scrapbookers, all that means is the front pages are graduated.
We were told to use the "Chocolate Covered Cherries" line.
I love that paper sooo much..I haven't got to play with it until now.
So I completely enjoyed myself.
I decided to make Hugo the subject for this mini book. I have never made a book for him so I thought this would be a great time to start one.
Assignment #4 was hosted by www.cropaddict.com
Thx cropaddict for hosting all us RP racers.
Enjoy!!!

This is the front cover of the book. The arrow is front acrylic, the heart is chipboard covered in cardstock it is just glued to the acrylic arrow.

2nd page..This page ends at the 2 brown squares with the cream polka-dot arrow on the right.

3rd page..the back side of the previous one. I love my Zorro!!!
Page 5..this is the backside of the arrow you saw from the front of the book.

This is the 4th page.(sorry they got mixed up in uploading). This is the U R from the front cover(that's why it's called a layered book). The arrow is attached to the back side of this page.

Close-up of the definition on the "r".

Page 6..the top part of the arrow is attached at the back and a little twisted toward the front. I love these arrows...and I love that picture.

Page 7..see the backside of the arrow?
The 3 hearts are chipboard painted red with rick-rack ribbon tied between them.
Page 8...this is a very simple page but I really like it. It focuses on the picture more and of course that paper is so yummy!! Oh yea, that is a sticker on the far left.
Ok, so no one told me what happens to your scrap room during this race.
My scrap space thinks I've gone crazy!!
I guess in a way, I have. Crazy Scrapping!!

So, I want to preface these pictures..
I am a very picky and clean home mom,
this picture is right after I finished the book above.
The funny part is, a couple day prior when I finished that layout below, I took a picture and it looked like that too.
I clean up before my next project and other than this race, my room never looks like that. I have been working during and through the nights in a rush.
As soon as I finish this post, I am headed to it to clean.
So please don't think this is normal.
I promise, it's not.
I just thought I would share it, cause it's funny! Well, it's funny for now. Not for long!

The big picture...(sorry bout the sun).
I have sat at that desk so long, I had to get a footrest for my feet...they were hurting just hanging from the chair. Oh, I don't even want to look at it.

A side view.
The desk view...look at the colors and I love my buttons.

A side view from what is behind my chair(my chair doesn't go there, I moved it b/c I am a standing scrapper, I normally sit where the green cutter is on the table.)..all my stuff, well, most of my stuff is within hand reach. I really love my scrap space, a lot. It's in our loft and it's right near where the kids watch tv or games. So I can keep an eye on them and also visit with them unless they're fighting, then it's not fun to have my scrap space here..jk! (see my Mike cup on the bookshelf? I love to scrap with that one.)
Thanks for stopping by to see my take on Project #4 and my messy space.
I should have taken a before photo..then you will believe me. hah!
After the race, I will be sorting/giving/cleaning/organizing my space.
Just like Spring Cleaning the house.

Keep following the race and leave me a comment so I know who you are.

Amazing Race Project #3 Completion!!

This layout was our #3 assignment.
The instructions were to create a 2-pg layout using the "Pop Star" line, with the theme of
"My Perfect Day" also making it an interactive page.
This is my take on it with those things in mind.
The title is "1 Perfect Day".
I have always loved this "Pop Star" paper line. Every time I work with it, it becomes a color inspiration to me.
If you click on these pictures you can see a little closer view.

Enjoy!!!

The center of these arrows is one interactive part.

Then under the first flip-up..there's another page turner right beneath it.

This accordian mini-book holds 10 photos and is secured with a ribbon. This is on the right hand page at the top right corner. This is the 2nd interactive piece to this page. Couldn't just do one.
A close-up of the first 5...
A close-up of the second 5..
Hey! Whose that man in the pink shirt with me and Ash?
Oh, it's Lance, owner of Rusty Pickle.
A close-up side view of the of the arrow booklet.

The title and frame.

I love this paper line, and lime green is my all time favorite color.
Add the turquois and a dot of red and your on your way.

Hope you enjoyed the layout.
If you have any questions, email or FB me.

On to Clue #4..be back to share it later.
