Presents Already??!!

We got home the other day and there was a package on the porch...the kids automatically knew who it was from cause...well, it's a little obvious...

See what I mean, for yourself....

This is on every box Aunt Sheri sends to the kids...Brooklin always looks for it...that tells her who it's from..she says, "It says, Aunt Sheri misses you"...

The kids loved this one...we can't wait to torment Unle Rick...

scoot over Unle Rick, we are snuggly Gumps...especially in the cold, on flannel sheets...

Thanksgiving Day..Hugo Style!!!

So we had the Thanksgiving holiday without Hugo again this year...this will probably be an ongoing event every year...

So where was he? Well, look at the pics and it should explain...
I love the snow...it's so peaceful and pretty...

Yay!!! I love it that he is enjoying himself...

Hugo went to Wisconsin to hunt with his Dad and Brother...their hunting season is the week of Thanksgiving...

I am so happy he got to go visit his family...he only sees them about once a year...and for them to be doing "boy" stuff makes it even better for them all.

We have a freezer full of venison again, we were getting low but we are good for the winter now..

Black Friday Madness!!!

This post is kind of a continuation from Thanksgiving Day. While visiting the Morton's, Bethany mentioned she had never been shopping on Black Friday.

Well, that's all she had to say to me...cause actually I think it's sin if you have never gone, I believe there is a scripture somewhere about it, maybe even the 11th Commandment, there are 11 right???(don't quote me on that). So doing my spiritual duty, we planned it. So a few hours after we left, me and Shine came back to pick her up. Did I say 4 am??? Who said that time? I mean really...It should have been earlier...haha!!

I don't know why, they just won't open for a man in his jammies in the dark....

Oh!! that's why...they don't open til 5:00 am...but it's Black Friday..don't they have any Stbx specials??? Come on Stbx..keep up!!!!

We had a great shopping morning...I am so happy to have taken Ws. Bethany for her first Black Friday experience...

No fights, no pushing or shoving...just a man in his jammies!!!

I have experienced those before on Black Friday.

Hope some of you got to go out on that day...some great deals, if you're up for the fight...Great experience, if you have never done it, go for it...

It's a rush!!!

Thanksgiving Day!!

Hope you all had a great Thanksgiving Day with your families. We had a great day too. We missed Hugo and the rest of our family but we still had a blessed day.

Our day started with cooking...imagine that!!! haha!! Here are some pictures...

We all ate, of course, way too much...then later in the evening we went to the Morton's for leftovers and dessert hopping....

This is a "Thankful Tree" that Uncle Doug(Ping) made...you write on a leaf what you're thankful for, then hang it on the tree...
