Family Photo Shoot with Jocelyn!

We had another photo session with Jocelyn.
This was such a fun shoot.
We got some pictures of the Addi because it was time,
but we didn't have any of our family since she was born.
The last set we did, Shine was on a vacation, so we had to wait til now.

Here's what we got...

Funny Face!!!

Brooklin loves reading the "Hungry Caterpillar" book to Coco, Coco loves to listen and look at the pictures and I love to watch them both.

Little Coco sitting at our feet.

Our latest "above the fireplace family photo wall hanging"

I love these kids so much. I am such a blessed mom.

My sweet Shine!! I love this girl.
She is one amazing teenager.
I tell her all the time,
"You were not born to fit in,
you were born to Shine"
And that she does!!

This is soooo my Shine captured!!

My Adoration!

Adoration's cradle.
Made only for a princess.

During this picture, Addi reached outside the box to the
little yellow flowers in front. She was completely fascinated by them.
Once she spotted them, these shots were done.
We couldn't get her attention any longer.

She's all ready to go.
This is a trunk Rusty Pickle sent to me after me being on their design team.
I knew it had the perfect purpose.
My mom says she's all packed and ready to go to Nashville.
Hmm? American Airlines might have a little problem with that one.

Again, I will say thank you to our FAVORITE photographer Jocelyn!!
Jocelyn, we love you dearly and really feel you are just part of our family.
You allow us to be ourselves and then capture that through the lens.
As I've shared with you, you will always be "our" photographer.
You have grown with our family over the years and been a part of all our family changes, good and bad.
You don't get frustrated during every shoot you have done, our family is either teasing, laughing, crying, or someone getting upset with the other one, as all families do .
You take it in stride and don't get annoyed with us. Well, at least you don't show it to us.
Just as I've said to you since you began photography...
We are your #1 fan!!!
We love you!!
Thanks so much!

Go take a look at Jocelyn's site to look at some more of her amazing work!
You won't regret it!!

Tuesday Tutorial with T!!

It's my turn this week for the Tuesday Tutorial at Scrap Tiffany.
I'm going to show you how to make a gift bag out of an envelope.
They're mini, cute,fun and easy.
Let's get started.

That's it. Pretty easy peasy huh?
Don't forget the many choices of envelopes out there, colored ones, and different sizes. I think it would be so cute to make one with a large manila envelope and decorate it very vintagey(is that a word?hmm?). You can also print on the front from your computer just like you would print normally, but instead of an address, print something cute.
Let me see what you come up with.
Email me a picture of your creation and I'll post them on my blog.
Thanks for stopping by.

7 Gypsies Class

This weekend I took 2 classes with 7 Gypsies at my local scrapbook store, Pocketful of Treasures.
It was so much fun. I hadn't taken a class in so long.
It was fun to hang out with scrapping friends for the day.
On top of that, I love the 7 Gypsies product. It's very vintage and fun.
Here are some pictures of the fun creative day...

Me and Robin. I love this girl. We met a very long time ago at an all night crop party with her and her daughter Ashley.
We all hit it off between Robin, Ashley, my mom, sis and Ash.
Ever since then we have pretty much kept in contact through our fantabulous hobby.
I am so glad we have become friends. Everytime we see each other it's like we were never apart. We just catch right up like there was no time between us.
It's been fun. Except this time,
we were missing everyone(Ashley x2, Mema and Sis)but the two of us had a great time anyway.

Note to Robin: Had a blast with you today. I know I will see you soon.
Ashley x2, Mema and Sis, we missed you all!!!

These are the fun ingredients for our 1st project for the day.

This is what we created with it...this adorable mini book.
We used silver foil, hole punches, glue, chipboard, trinkets, metals and even a book bra...yes, I said a book bra. The cutest thing ever.
As you can see in the picture, it is a strap that holds the book closed.
I hope it holds better than some of mine have in the past. lol!!

This is the whole class with our 2nd projects in hand.
It was a little house with a mini book on the underside of the roof.
We used a lot of the same items and then some on this one.
Chipboard, metals, elastic binding, vintage papers and
a bunch more amazing stuff.

Last year when the Gypsy girls were here, Mema was here and went to class with me. So the girls missed her and decided to make a sign to tell her.
This is what I text to her during the class
directly from Debbie and Paula.

Message to Mema: Debbie and Paula said to tell you they missed you in the class. They also said it was very quiet without the Mema ruckus they had experienced last year.
Oh yea, and they really wanted to use your Big Lots scissors. Lol!!

This is the Gypsy girls, Debbie and Paula and
store owners Meagan and Janice.
Thanks to you all for hosting such a great day.
We had a blast!!
You guys are GREAT!!!

One last paparazzi shot in front of the Gypsy stash!!What a great time we had today.
Thanks again to Megan and Janice at
Pocketful of Treasures for hosting all us ladies.
We had a great time.
And thanks to Debbie and Paula for the fun you brought.
We always have fun with the two of you.

Scrap Tiffany Black & White Photo Challenge-Part 2

This week's Scrap Tiffany Challenge was using Black/White photos.
This was quite easy for me because I love using black n white's.
They seem to work with any kind of paper you decide upon.

Not to mention, when you walk into my closet those two colors are the primary colors you see. When I buy a shirt, I tend to look for the black and then say, "I wonder if they have that in white?".
Well, maybe I need to get out of my closet box and buy other colors.
I suppose that is another blog post for another day.

For today, here is my layout for this week's challenge.

Supplies used: Patterned paper-BoBunny "Alissa"; Sticker's-BoBunny "Alissa";Letter stickers-BoBunny"Alissa";
Flowers-Prima;"I love you" Embossing folder-Cuttlebug; Date rub-on-Imaginisce; Father vellum quote-My Minds Eye;
Misc.-pink ribbon, tulle netting, stamps, Stickles, white pen, rhinestone brads, sewing machine, square scallop punch.

I chose to use this picture of my husband and newest kid on the block, my Adoration. She is about 3 weeks old in this picture. Seems like yesterday, now she is just over 4 months. Where does the time go?
When our photographer was taking these shots, I was upstairs and didn't really see them until she sent them to us. I was floored and loved these of the two of them the most.

I thought this BoBunny paper was the perfect combo for the picture.
It has the pink for her, and the black for him.
I wouldn't normally put a man on pink paper
but in this case "she" rules and I think it works.

Make sure to stop at Tiffany's and look at all the other
Black & White layouts for this weeks challenge.
