Happy Valentines Day!!

Wishing everyone Happy Vday!! Not VD Day but Happy Valentines Day!!!
Hope you all are sending out love today and receiving it back at ya!!!

I have some bad news....Our last post of our latest addition to our family....well, our little Ziggy has passed on. Hugo went to pet him and found him just lying there, but breathing. He and Kameron took him to the pet store and they confirmed that Ziggy just wouldn't make it...
We love you Ziggy for the short time we had you in our home!
We will be getting Ziggy #2, very soon. We will still name him Ziggy, as Brooklin thinks he is just at the Petco hamster doctor. We will tell her when we have the new and improved Ziggy.
Thought I needed to share the news!!!
Hope you all have a good day today!!!

Meet the newest member of the Egle Family!

Allow me to introduce you to the latest addition to our family.
Please meet Ziggy Egle!!!!

One day last week I had a luncheon to go to and asked if our Nanny, Bethany could watch Brooklin and pick up Kameron from school for the couple hours during my meeting. She met me and picked up Brooklin. Bethany mentioned they would visit the petstore. I thought ok, sounds good, Brooklin would enjoy that.

So I get a text during my luncheon from Bethany and she says...Me, Kameron, Brooklin and Ziggy will be at my house when you're done. Hhmmm!!! Here's the txt responses....

Me: "Ziggy?",

Nanny B: "Yes, Ziggy Egle"

Me: "Oh my Lord, Ws. Bethany, what have you done?"

Nanny B: "Well, the latest addition to the Egle family".

So then I show up to get the kids and they are estatic.

I ask: "Who, where and what is Ziggy? Please just tell me it's not a lizard, snake or Iguana". I just could not do those.

Nanny B: Ziggy is a hamster.

Me: OMG!!! What am I going to do with a hamster???

Bethany: "You play with him, pet him and hold him".

Me: "Oh!"

Ok so, I don't normally like these types of animals, however, he was very cute and Bethany had went to so much trouble to house him and get all his stuff (food, treats, cage, bedding, a kabob for me to put cabbage on, and of course, the ball to put him inside of to roll around the house).

Ziggy is eating some food.

He's posing for the picture. (Probably saying, Lord, why the Egle house, out of all the places you could have chose for me, why here?).

So he's here with us and he's kinda cool. He's growing on me. He ran around his wheel last night for about 20 min straight. He sleeps all day and I have given complete instruction that he does not come out of the cage unless you ask and dad is home.

Hope you've enjoyed the story of our adoption of the latest Egle member. I just know that we can add any additional members.

What happened to people just buying a candy, car, or doll for your children. This is almost as bad as a trip to the store with Aunt ReRe.

Just know that paybacks are a pain, Ws. Bethany. Don't forget...your nanny is already hired, you know who..and it comes much faster than you think.

Here I am!!!

Sorry, I kind of fell off the "Blogger Train" for a bit...I'm back .
Maybe lately I've been the caboose. (Just leave that alone Rick).
Just wanted to say a quick hello...I will post later with some pics of what's been going on.
Have been working a lot lately, church, trying my best to keep my home clean and laundry done. Just doing the necessary things lately.
No scrapping at all. However, I am in the "mood" to turn my house upside down and spring clean. That includes getting rid of some stuff, re-organizing, and putting out some home decor my sister gave me when she moved. It's good stuff too. She doesn't even remember most of it.
We are working on the kids rooms, mostly Kameron's and Shine's. Shine's is pretty much done, we just have to add a few things...IKEA here we come. Kameron's...well, I have had the stuff for his room for a long time, but we were trying to figure out what type of bed to put in there, one that would go with the decor he chose. We figured it out. We decided that Hugo would build one for him. So that is in process right now. I'm excited about it...other than a few more little things to buy, we are just waiting on the bed to be complete. Hugo has had very little time to work on it between our busyiness lately. When we get done with it, I will be sure to post some pictures. It won't be real soon but hopefully not too long.
It's soooo Kameron.
Well, that's about it for now. I have to take Shine to piano lessons. I will post again soon with some pictures.
Thanks for stopping by.

Happy Birthday Mema!!!

Happy Birthday to you, happy birthday to you Mema!!!! We love you and are happy to have you here for your birthday, and although all the rest of your kids are not with us for the celebration, we will make sure that you feel special on this day.
Thank you for being a great mom to us all. All the things you have taught us over the years, is the reason it is hard for you to tell us anything now, because you taught us right the first time. It has stuck with each of us. We appreciate the wisdom and advice and mothering you have given us all.
Thank you for being a great mom, mema, and mother-in-law.
We love you and honor you on this great day.
Happy Birthday Mom!!!

ps...to our Tennesseean family....we will miss you on this special party day.

P365/This week!

Here's a few of my P365 pics for last week...just thought I would share a little peek at what happened each day...I love this project...

Shine and her friend Jessica at their Cheer Spirit Night...

Kameron lost a tooth...

The tooth fairy came...

Brooklin loves her Jumpstart preschool computer game...

The girls getting fitted for Ws. Bethany's wedding...

Brooklin didn't understand why she couldn't take her princess dress home that same day...she promises to be a little "gill" the night of the wedding...with Nemo in a tow, she must be on her best behavior. ????
Shine will have fun wearing that beautiful dress. All grown up...too grown up for mom to even think about.

A picture of my laundry pile for the week...it looks less than it actually is..it is minus two loads in the wash at the time of this pic and it is missing towels as well, for a total of 9 loads.

Pancake Saturday!!!...these were whole wheat and soy sausage..since we're on our whole grain/veggie only fast...
Oh my!!!

Packing up the Christmas stuff, these two decided they were not letting the Christmas stuff go away that easy...my kids are Christmas freaks!!! Not just the presents, they want every piece of decor they see. They wanted to leave it up all year.
What kind of monsters did I create???

Brooklin asked me while I was on the computer to help her put this GIANORMOUS Nemo puzzle together that Aunt Sheri got her for Christmas...of course, I couldn't resist.
Who could resist that face???
Well, that concludes our week from the 15th-20th...not including work, church, normal comings and goings...whew!!! no wonder I'm tired.
Hope you all had a great week like I did...take time to enjoy your families...they grow and go way too fast!!
Til next Time with T!!!
